April 17th

Division 7 has continued to work on our structures unit.  We have learned that:
a triangle is the strongest shape for a structure, it is easier to use shorter sticks than the stir sticks  when building with mini marshmallows,  we learned that a base is also called a
foundation, small foundations make the buildings easy to fall down while bigger ones are more stable and you can build higher!

We had an Easter Egg hunt with our big buddies.  It was lots of fun especially the chocolate!  Ask me about the hunt??

Marcus Pfister is our new author, he is the author for the Hopper books and also Rainbow Fish.  .

Today students presented the stories that they wrote about Emma's Eggs.  They were all so creative and interesting.  Then we read the real story of Emma's Eggs, it was good but so were all of ours!
