Today your child has brought home their Poetry, Chants and More books with an April Showers sheet. They need to complete this for homework (it was actually given to them last week but only 3 completed it). We have been working on descriptive words (adjectives) in their writing so I am hoping this will help them.

In Math we have been working on multiplication (groups of) and addition with/without regrouping.  

Last week we met our new big buddies and Thursday we did an Easter craft with them.  

We now have Spelling City linked to our Blog - the students go to this site at computer lab but it would also be a good idea to play and practice these games during the week to help learn their spelling words.  

The students brought home Scientist of the Day sheets this week.  Each student has been assigned a day that they will be our Scientist.  If the date doesn't work for you please don't hesitate to contact me and we can change it to a different day.  ***I will be also including these dates on our Monthly Calendar on this blog.

This afternoon Mrs. Murray and her 3 month old baby Eleanor came in to visit our class.   It was great to see her and the students learned some important information about babies. They will continue to visit once a month so that we can watch Ellie grow and change.
