October 18th

Our field trip to Fort Langley is on Tuesday morning. Booster seats are needed and students should dress for the weather as we will be outside for part of the trip, Several students have not returned their permission slips, please send them in on Monday as unfortunately they would NOT be able to go on the trip if these haven't been handed in. I think we do have enough drivers but if you haven't completed your driver's abstracts though please do so asap as we just have enough, thank you!

We learned about the Atlantic Provinces of New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island in our Canada unit.

With our buddies we did some cool 'fall art'. We created leaves, pumpkins or squirrels using a variety of legumes or pasta and yarn. We hope to have them up next week in a bulletin board display.

In math we enjoyed doing the page where the wise fox said to make patterns which we then had a friend repeat and name. Speaking of what the fox says, Division 7 loves the utube video, What does the fox say?


Explorations pictures - our Canadian Animal Habitat,puzzles and the Lincoln Logs are some of the favourite stations.
